Kompatibilität zu news_categories

Hallo,

seit den letzten Updates der beiden Erweiterungen funktioniert author-news leider nicht mehr.

Getestet habe ich es wie folgt:
Frisches Contao 4.9.12, dann author-news installiert, mit zwei Ausgabemodulen getestet, Filterung funktioniert.
Dann news_categories installiert. Sofort nach der Installation funktioniert der Autoren-Filter im Modul nicht mehr.

Generally, this extension is probably only compatible with codefog/contao-news_categories in version 2.x at the moment. I'll have a look at it when I get around to it.

Unfortunately we ran into the same issue with a second website.
Do you see any chance to look into this compatibility issue in the near future?

I have a released a small fix that should at least restore the author filtering functionality. However, in order to be fully compatible with the newest news_categories version, a more extensive rewrite of this extension needs to be funded. Feel free to contact us about that - or choose a sponsorship level so that I can work on it in my own time :)
