Smart Hint: Pipeline Building Made Drastically Easier





Smart Hint drastically reduces the learning curve when it comes to building pipelines, and that too by a very large factor.

We've also added support for the recently announced models at the OpenAI DevDay. Other than that, we’ve added a Google Search Connector and made some small but important improvements to the console and UI/UX.

Smart Hint

We've worked hard to ensure that new users can start building pipelines with minimal effort. When building connections between components, Smart Hint will prompt the user of the available connections. Not only will this make the process less error prone and faster, but we believe this will also allow the user to skip having to read the documentation before they get started.

We'll continue to update Smart Hint to make it even smarter!

Support for the new OpenAI models!

We've worked swiftly to ensure that users have the most up-to-date tools available to make the most of their pipelines. Check out the console for what these new models are capable of:

Google Search Connector

Now you have the power of Search. This connector will allow users to automatically bring in website text and HTML data from the top search results on Google Search. Simply provide the connector with search keywords and the number of search results to include. You can now enhance your AI apps with by augmenting this data.

UI/UX → Console: Memorize Component Position

Earlier, the component positions used to reset after the user re-entered the pipeline-building canvas. Now, we’ve ensured that users have the agency to save the position of the components; ensuring more personalized organization. We’ve also fixed some related bugs.

We’re super excited to announce that we’ll be releasing Instill Cloud and Instill VDP Beta in December. So we look forward to providing even more updates in the coming weeks as we gear up for the Beta launch.

Users will also see more frequent connector and operator additions moving forward!
