With Beta, the VDP API is now stable. We commit to avoiding any breaking changes in our VDP API and ensuring backward compatibility.
Incorporate VDP into your workflow effortlessly, whether on the cloud or through self-hosting. Explore the options below:
Instill Hub
Share your work, ideas, prompts and more in the form of Unstructured Data Pipelines or Apps with the world on Instill Hub. Both your profile and published pipelines will be indexable by search engines soon.
This also means that you can view Pipelines and Apps shared by other members on Instill Hub, directly trigger them, or clone and build on top of them!
Freemium, Pro, Team, and Enterprise tiers
We've completely revamped subscription tiers for all levels of your needs.
Our Freemium tier is free forever and designed to ensure that you can use all the features of Instill VDP, and the only limits are the number of triggers, number of pipelines, and number of users.
The Pro tier takes things to the next level and allows unlimited triggers and an unlimited number of pipelines, as well as more in depth Version Control.
The Team tier is for teams of up to 5 users and introduces User Permissions, Dedicated Support, and the ability to upload and use your own custom models. We've also increased the number of triggers in this tier.

Use this operator along with image models to overlay classification, detection, keypoint, OCR, instance segmentation, and semantic segmentation results on the input images.
Text Operator
Augment your chat and RAG use cases with the text operator. Convert documents in formats such as PDF, DOC, DOCX, XML, HTML, RTF, etc. to plain text.
Base64 Operator
Just like it sounds, decode Base64 strings or encode into Base64 using this operator.
Website Connector

Smart Hint: Pipeline Building Made Drastically Easier
Smart Hint drastically reduces the learning curve when it comes to building pipelines, and that too by a very large factor.
We've also added support for the recently announced models at the OpenAI DevDay. Other than that, we’ve added a Google Search Connector and made some small but important improvements to the console and UI/UX.

Smart Hint
We've worked hard to ensure that new users can start building pipelines with minimal effort. When building connections between components, Smart Hint will prompt the user of the available connections. Not only will this make the process less error prone and faster, but we believe this will also allow the user to skip having to read the documentation before they get started.
We'll continue to update Smart Hint to make it even smarter!
Support for the new OpenAI models!
We've worked swiftly to ensure that users have the most up-to-date tools available to make the most of their pipelines. Check out the console for what these new models are capable of:
Google Search Connector
Now you have the power of Search. This connector will allow users to automatically bring in website text and HTML data from the top search results on Google Search. Simply provide the connector with search keywords and the number of search results to include. You can now enhance your AI apps with by augmenting this data.
UI/UX → Console: Memorize Component Position
Earlier, the component positions used to reset after the user re-entered the pipeline-building canvas. Now, we’ve ensured that users have the agency to save the position of the components; ensuring more personalized organization. We’ve also fixed some related bugs.

Now, connect to Hugging Face Hub!
Connect to models hosted on the Hugging Face Hub through the Hugging Face Inference API. Other than that, we’ve made some small but important improvements to the console and UI/UX.

Hugging Face Hub Inference API
Access Hugging Face for tasks such as Fill Mask, Summarization, Classification and much more using various open source models.
Do keep in mind that the HuggingFace Inference API is free, but provides for low availability and low reliability.
UI/UX → Console layout auto-alignment
Earlier, the auto-alignment function restricted user control of the component layout. Now, we’ve reduced the intrusiveness of the auto-alignment function so that users have control over the layout of the components. We’ve also fixed some related bugs.
UI/UX → Collapse/expand components
Now, users can minimize components when they’re not needed to reduce clutter and increase readability.
UI/UX → Unified node width
Users will see a more standardized, unified, and cleaner canvas now with this upgrade.
