unfortunately similar issue with the other app that goes along with it
https://github.com/GodsMoon/Flashify

i'm not quite sure the issue, seems like maybe just needs a fresh build push to update the signatures on them to use newer standards, as the only "security" issue?

meanwhile, you may like the other similarly efficiently small 50k tool available on f-droid that would at least let you open links incognito (it's better than nothing?).

Netscope v2.2-5 now replaces and improves on the Browser Intercept + Flashify combo, since i usually just want to know where i'm going before i'm sent there by surprise, and Netscope now does it better.

previously using BI+F apps would be:

  1. tap "just once" for Browser Intercept in browse list.
  2. see the url above send list.
  3. tap Flashify to return to browse list.
  4. select specific browser (and next time have to tap Browser Intercept before "just once").

now replace BI+F with Netscope and it becomes:

  1. tap "just once" for Netscope in browse list.
  2. see the url above browse list.
  3. select specific browser (and next time only need to tap "just once" for Netscope).
  • or tap Netscope again to switch to send list.
  • and a few more times to cycle through additional search and virus check of url options.

available in F-Droid and not currently in play store.

@TPS since you're the OP, maybe update the title to something like "replacement found since no longer in play store and f-droid recommends uninstall" and link in OP to https://f-droid.org/packages/com.oF2pks.netscope

@TPS TPS changed the title F-Droid recommends uninstalling ☹️ F-Droid recommends uninstalling ☹️ (replacement available) Jan 12, 2020
