Import books catalogue from Open Library

Adding the option to import books catalogues (by getting ISBNs or by importing data about them) from The Internet Archive’s Open Library.

OL export doesnt provide any ISBN (only OL ids, which inventaire is linking with, but books with an OL identifier are very few compared to books with isbn). Since the importer is based on isbns, Im afraid implementing an OL import feature now, will end up duplicating a lot of editions without ISBN.
I guess we need to wait for this issue

Are you sure? By reading this it appears to me that you can get ISBNs from books…

I misunderstood you,. I was in the importer context : as a user, you upload an export file from another platform (OL's page "Imports and Exports") to import your books, which is not what you are talking a about.
