I'm not sure if it's correct way of handling things, but correcting this string to '==0.0.20' fixes xformers install for me - and maybe for others too. Please see this thread, this is the issue I had (trying to install InvokeAI): facebookresearch/xformers#740
@lstein do you know of anything we need to keep in mind for bumping xformers? |
As far as I can guess, no - it's should be more determined than current ~=0.0.19 spread approach, so it's should be safe. Please keep in mind that I'm having absolutely zero experience with xFormers or InvokeAI, and the only thing I know is that current xformers 0.0.22.post3 ruins automatic installation for me (and maybe for other people too). I can only ask someone to investigate it further. |

I think we can go to xformers 0.0.21 safely. I am running it on top of torch 2.0.1 without problems.
@lstein updated this to be 0.0.21 |
Approving .20 and we can evaluate other versions at a later date |

Please see this thread, this is the issue I had (trying to install InvokeAI with Automatic/Manual/StableMatrix way).
With ~=0.0.19 (0.0.22):
