Hello,

can you please

  1. Remove the current aapter instance (e.g lgtv.0)
  2. Complete uninstall of the adapter
  3. Remove all states/objects under lgtv.0 if present
  4. Restart ioBroker
  5. Reinstall the adapter through GitHub URL https://github.com/SebastianSchultz/ioBroker.lgtv

hello sebastian,
sorry for late reply i missed that you answered so fast.
ok
FYI: i already used your adapter with my tv successfully .. cannot say what version i assume something about 1.0.4 or earlier, i could write popups and alter volume and switch off and more..

now i can only read states but not alter them

i have removed the instance, AND second step the adapter itself too
states were not present because of the removal of instance and adapter
restart iobroker ,, ok i restarted the server

now i stuck with reinstall the adapter through github..
what are the right steps.. do i allow github in information tab
or do you mean i should install the adapter via commandline
(last step is a bit dangerous because i read io broker does not want to install things via commandline because of rights and so on. ??)
what do you suggest

Hello Bluefox,

sorry, I don't understand? The current Version (1.0.7) is already on npm?!

Hi @SebastianSchultz,
I had some strange behaviors after updated to the last version. I then reinstalled the adapter (also with restarting iobroker etc.). Unfortunately I experienced the same things like described here. It just worked to read but not to write values via the installed adapter.
After that test I deinstalled the adapter again and installed it directly following your steps (direct via URL). Now everything looks like before but it works. Even the version is the same.
To sum this up, it works with installing the adapter directly via your url but it does not work to install the adapter via the adapter UI of iobroker.
Not sure how this is possible but this was what I just tested ;)

Thanks :)

Hi Bluefox.
How can I push it to npm without changing the version number?

Hey,
as far as i know you cant publish the same Version twice.
Why dont set Version to 1.0.8?

I've published a new version on NPM.

LG seems to made something strange with the TV firmware.
Yesterday I also could'nt control my TV anymore.
I then automatically assigned a new IP adress in the network menu of my TV. Before I had a fixed adress.
With a fixed adress the adapter stopped working :(

So the people in which problems appear please reassign a new IP automatically and register it in the adapter.

Otherwise only a debug log will help.
