ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'awscli'

I get this even after installing

pip install awscli

I'm using python 3. Is that why?
What is the solution

@ashinzekene if you get a permissions error you may need to include --user argument. Please try the instructions here: http://docs.aws.amazon.com/cli/latest/userguide/installing.html
