The ControlHub's logs are routed via syslog and have a log rotation configuration file. So, in order to be able to provide logs to debug any problems whilst not filling up the disk with logs, the ControlHub requires both syslog (provided by the rsyslog RPM on RHEL 6 & 7) and logrotate
However, this dependency is not currently encoded in the controlhub RPM. This oversight was not picked up earlier since the rsyslog and logrotate RPMs are already installed on almost all machines; however, I noticed that the log files were not being on the docker images used for testing - since they (deliberately) have a minimal setup.
