Transfer this repository under the IPython org? #1

There is some ongoing effort to remove the ipykernel dependency from ipywidgets. Extracting the Comm module from ipykernel would help reaching that goal.

This would also help other Python kernels that wants to support ipywidgets without requiring ipykernel (xeus-python, solara, jupyterlite's pyolite etc).

I took the liberty to start the comm module under my name, but transferring it under the IPython org next to ipykernel and IPython would be better.

Those are the PRs using this comm module in multiple places:
