The command to test the terminal is clobbered -- backslashes are gone, and quotes are replaced with typographic quotes.

The setting declaration is at

true_color = Bool(False,

I suspect the help text is used in command line mode as well as readthedocs, isn't it?
If that's the case, I'm not sure how to fix it...
