Command prompt distorted in ipython >=7 #11640

We are experiencing a distorted command prompt where the cursor is offset to the bottom of the line number. pip installing ipython==6 resolves the issue.

We are running a conda environment inside a docker container. Let me know if you need further details about our packages beyond what is displayed in the screenshot below.
