storemagic issues multiple applications

I have 2 applications, each spreads across multiple ipython notebook files. I have a need to store and restore variables, which I need to use across these notebook instances for each application.

I could use %store But, it doesn't support a partition. Applications overwrite each others data.

Storemagic supports a mechanism to store to a file
%store foo > file.txt

But, It doesn't support a process to restore from a file
