This allows deployments to use customized KernelManager subclasses via config.

Prompted by IRuby, which is a working Ruby kernel for the notebook, and the only real change necessary to make this possible is allowing the notebook to use KM subclasses via config.

This looks great! It is extremely cool that someone has already made a ruby kernel for this!
