duplicates in source:

fdupes docs/source/_static/
docs/source/_static/plot_simple.png
docs/source/_static/plot_simple_python.png

and these files are created during the build, are they needed in the source only tarball (and git)?

docs/source/_static/hist_with_text.png
docs/source/_static/plot_simple.png

No, we can just nuke them from the whole thing, and let them be created automatically. I saw them popping up yesterday on my build, but I was too tired to look into it.
