x-86 Windows-7 64 bit version. I keep getting the error Python installation not found and it doesnt allow me to specify the directory to pick that as well.

What version of Python/IPython are you using? where/how did you get IPython?

Are you just doing: python setup.py install or something else?

Can you provide the actual traceback of the error? That will help us track it down for you.

closing as stale, since IPython 0.11 appears to install just fine on Windows, (7-x64 or otherwise).
