[ BTW, I could swear I'd made this issue a few days ago at SciPy, but I can't find it]

Something happened recently that is making it nearly impossible to edit long lines (that wrap) in markdown cells. Once a line wraps, the visual blinking cursor is shown one or more characters too far to the right of where typing is really happening. That makes it maddeningly difficult to actually type anything.

I've seen this on some machines on chrome on linux, but not on others. If nobody can reproduce it I'll chalk it to a quirk of mine, but if anyone else sees it, then it's a blocker.

You did indeed (#3461), and it was a duplicate of #3361 so I'm closing this one again.

Mmh, why the hell did none of those turn up in my searches??? I searched the bug database a lot before re-making this, as I was pretty much sure I'd submitted it. Anyhow, thanks!
