I get "ERROR: Failure: error (nothing to repeat)" see line 128 in https://gist.github.com/918116

Test suite completed for system with the following information:

Can you test this inside IPython? Just do %rehashx. My test runs do not raise this error (XP-SP3, EPD-7.0.2 Python 2.7.1)

Also, what is the value of os.environ['pathext']?
