Explain better how to test an uninstalled IPython (via pythonpath manipulations).

If possible, make the package testable in-place before installation, that would be ideal. If not, explain better.

A while ago we realized that making an un-installed ipython testable caused more trouble than was worth it. It requires horrible hacks and those are very brittle, so we might as well not allow it, period.
