[Bug]: when making new data explorer, I need to save/close and re-open, to get the editor preview to update with the new data #3137

Description

I've been making new data explorers by opening previous data explorers as my template, and then editing as appropriate.

When I do that, even after successfully updating the file (and I know it was successful because the new explorer successfully uploads to the repository, and the URL then successfully opens from the repository and everything works), the editor still says that there are variables not present in the data object:

That's even after "trigger update" multiple times.

But if I save the ISLE file, close the editor, and re-open the file, it renders fine in the editor.

I think there's something in the editor preview pane that isn't properly updating and it somehow still thinks it's the previous dataset, and it's only properly updating upon close and re-open.
