Authorize.net has 4 integration methods:

  • Direct Post Method (DPM)
  • Server Integration Method (SIM)
  • Advanced Integration Method (AIM)
  • Simple Checkout

Which one is implemente in Isotope?
Are you planning on implementing DPM soon?

We have implemented a DPM method (attached), but we have this working is some VERY customized stores and it admittedly needs cleaning up. I am not sure how this will work in a stock Isotope setup. However, it our situation it works beautifully and the DPM method keeps you out of scope of PCI compliance.

We are in the process of cleaning up a lot of our extensions now and hope to get them into the ER/GitHub soon.

Hi, I initially created this ticket but never got to see the "attached" file you mention in your answer regarding the DPM method implemented... could you please attach it again? or send me a download link? or is this already added in the latest Isotope version?

Thanks.

Try this. Like I mentioned before, it needs some cleanup, but we have been bogged down with projects the past 6 months and are trying to dedicate the summer to getting everything cleaned up and pushed up to GitHub. Stay tuned.

@winanscreative does this extension "replace" the default one in Isotope? I'd love to remove it as it has not been updated for long time (and especially not for 2.0) ;-)

Yes, it does (or will, I should say, once we have it updated for 2.0). I have not used the original core one in a few years at least—it will still work, but the DPM method is safer, more secure, and better all around.

Authorize.NET has been dropped in the 2.0 core, please use the extension from @winanscreative
