Describe the feature request

  • Right now the HorizontalPodAutoscaler is always added to istiod and the ingress/egress gateways. There is no way to turn is off, unlike the PodDisruptionBudget. I'm proposing that you should add a defaultHorizontalPodAutoscaler field to values.global. This way we can easily disable it
