Testing

I agree to test the new package to ensure that it works as expected. Once I am satisfied with the results of my testing I will comment on this issue with the word "STABLE" to get it promoted to the stable repos.

@carlwgeorge I've ported this package from Fedora upstream, verified it builds linking with php74 in ius-testing and transferred it into IUS for review/publishing: https://github.com/iusrepo/php74-pecl-zip

Thanks for your work on this! I've built, signed, and published this package to the testing repository. Please take a look and let me know how it looks. FYI I followed Remi's previous advice to name the newer libzip as libzip5 to reflect the library soname, so that is the package that will get pulled in as a dependency.

Everything appears to be good here. Extension loads fine, and a couple basic tests loading a zip file and reading it's contents worked as expected. I'm going to call it as stable, and ready to promote when php74 is promoted unless someone else chimes in to say otherwise.
