Libvirt with virtual machine manager can not connect to the internet. #232

Bug report

Describe your environment

  • Device: Asus ROG Zephyrus G15
  • OS name and version: Arch Linux x86_64, Linux Kernel - 6.0.9-arch1-g14-1
  • IVPN app version: 3.9.45

Describe the problem

When using libvirt(through libvirt-manager), can not connect to the internet.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Just enable firewall.

Observed Results:

  • GuestOSes can not connect to the internet.

I think this is kind of related : mullvad/mullvadvpn-app#2320

In my case however, even after allowing LAN traffic and adding the network address from "QEMU/KVM - Connection Details" tab in virtual machine manager - it doesn't work. I have to disable the firewall for those VMs to work. So as a noob I expect some solution from the developers 😄
