This release of tu58fs contains
- Precompiled tu58fs for Win32, Linux x64, RaspberryPi and BeagleBoneBlack platform.
- several TU58 and RL02 images for XXDP and RT-11.
- Three ready-to-use "demo" batch files, which show example command lines:
pack&unpack, run a XXDP with 8 TU58's, and run a RT-11 with ADVENture. - New is the "--boot" option: tu58fs can download and start a TU58 "DD" bootloader over serial console line.
Installation
Connect to your PDP-11 over RS232, Download, Unzip, Start batch.
Demos
There are several demo batch files:
demo_xxdp:
run XXDP2.5 from binary image and shared directory
demo_rt11:
convert RT-11 V5.3 from binary image to shared directory and run
demo_xxdp_oversize:
XXDP2.5 is run from image.
Device #1 DD1: is oversized with a capacity of 10MB.
The whole content of the XXDP.25 RL02 distribution with over 600 diagnostics is copied there.
To start a diagnostic type something like
.R DD1:ZTUU??.???
demo_rt11_oversize:
Both device #0 and devcie #1 are oversized, again 10MBytes.
DD0: holds a fresh RT11 V5.3 install, DD1: contains a pack of games.
To start the classic ADVENTure, type
.ASSIGN DD1: DK
