While debugging the app there is a message shows that "This feature is not working on F-droid version of the app", like when signup with google.

The F-Droid version is not supposed to have Google Services Integration, so that message is expected Ghjk94522 notifications@github.com schrieb am Do., 22. Okt. 2020, 12:18:

So, if I wanna debug, the only way is downloading from google play?
or download from the release version?

If you want to debug any Google Play Services related stuff, then yes you'll need the play store version
