Using Mediapipe and OpenCV to Control Volume using Gestures

Clone the repo -

git clone https://github.com/jackjack3006/Gesture_Controlling.git
cd Gesture_Controlling/

Windows:

py -m pip install --upgrade pip
py -m venv env
.\env\Scripts\activate
(or)
source env/Scripts/activate

Linux/MacOS:

python3 -m pip install --user virtualenv
python3 -m pip install --user virtualenv
source env/bin/activate

How To Run

pip install -r requirements.txt
python3 run.py (or) python3 run_without_window.py

How To Change Volume

Change the distance between the thumb and the index to change the volume.

How To Mute

Touch the ends of your little finger and thumb

Stopping

Press the d key or in terminal press CTRL+c or Leave hands from the frame for 8 seconds.
