In case you're interested, I've spent the day hacking Docu after losing my rag with Sandcastle... I've thrown a bit of try/catch stuff around some of the LoadAssembly routines - no test coverage, but it hasn't broken anything either.
It's also been updated to use the latest release of Spark, now runs on .NET 4.0 (and will parse & document 4.0 assemblies), and I've thrown in a white-label version of the HTML5 doc templates I've put together for what I'm working on.
Nothing groundbreaking but might save you a bit of time if/when you need to Docu-ment anything in .NET 4.0
