I hope we get a response for this otherwise we could fork and publish a scoped package.. |
Hello @leontastic First of all, thank you very much for your contribution for the multipart uploads. This is a feature that has been requested for quite a while now. I would also like to thank everyone else who has contributed to this project and have shown an active interest in it. I have unfortunately been neglecting this project for quite a while. This is due to time constraints at work and other personal responsibilities. I am absolutely open to transferring full permissions (NPM and Github) to someone else. I would, however, like to keep the main code base under my username. Thank you very much for offering to volunteer. If you are absolutely sure about this, then I will proceed with transferring permissions. Please confirm :) Thank you! |
@jamhall Thank you so much for the reply! No need to justify your absence, maintaining projects like these takes a good amount of effort. You've been more than generous to have shared this code in the first place, and now opening it up to new maintainers! I'm ready when you are! 👍 My npm handle is |
@leontastic - Hello! Excellent news :) I have added you as collaborator on both Github and NPM. Thank you so much! |
@jamhall I'll do my best to take care of this code. Thank you! |
@jamhall I actually still don't have write access to the repository. Could you check the permissions again and give @leontastic write access? Thank you! |
@jamhall Nevermind I was dumb and didn't accept the invitation. It's all good now! Thanks. |
I see "Currently looking for maintainers" in the project description. There are 10 pull requests on this repo right now, and it seems like @jamhall is MIA with no activity on Github and no responses to recent PRs and issues.
I want to add support for multipart uploads in PR #78, which I think will cover a gaping hole in the functionality of this mock S3 server – I don't have any other choice but to run my own fork for my integration tests.
@jamhall If you see this, would you be open to transferring ownership of the NPM module and this repository to someone else to maintain? Or at least give full permissions on NPM and Github to a contributor so we can keep this project alive. A lot of good work was done here and it would go to waste if others aren't able to improve it to handle their own use cases. I'd love to volunteer, I'm sure there are others who would as well.
