Current behavior

I just upgraded to newer version and it became super slow it taking mintues to opena

Minimum reproduction step

Just downloaded the newer version and checkI

Expected behavior

it should work fine

I just cannot click and have to wait for 2-3 minutes and then also I hardly can type anything

Hi @khanakia, sorry for the inconvenience but can you try deleting the extension folder within the Jan data folder, and restart Jan?

I encountered a similar issue in my environment. There were no problems up to version v0.5.2-551, but after updating to v0.5.2-553, the startup time became significantly longer, and deleting the extension directory did not improve it.

My environment is also

  • macOS
  • M1 Max

@Hayashi-Yudai just reset the settings Avdvance Settings > Reset To Factory Default

and then it should be good
