There's a lot of things called "xauth", so I'm not exactly sure what you are referring to. Can you provide a link to a specification?

In general, however, xauth is a variation of the OAuth 1.0 protocol, and this module implements OAuth 2.0 only. See oauthorize for an OAuth 1.0 toolkit (which may be extensible enough for xauth).
