Put ponds on ice as a long term water source. They used to refill one…

… bowl every 3 hours on average. Now they refill one bowl per week (168 hours). The problem is that I can't predict how many ponds are in a given area. 10 ponds over 24 hours will produce 80 bowls of water. Ponds are for bootstrapping only.
