prerequisites

exiftool installed See here http://www.sno.phy.queensu.ca/~phil/exiftool/ for more info. To install om Mac OSX: use brew install exiftool

target OS

POSIX style OS's with bash available Windows can be used with e.g. an bash style interpreter (such as you get included when installing git from https://git-scm.com/download/win)
