Apologies if I have not been as responsive as usual, but COVID, a growing family, and my work life balance have been taking priority. That being said I continue to be passionate about this project and while I have been quiet I've also been working on migration to Typescript and this has made me hesitant to add any new features.

For quite some time I was apprehensive about this move, but after using Typescript for a year now I feel it is the right direction for a library of this size.

So, I'll be creating a new branch and release named "next".

There are some challenges though. I've invariably discovered a few bugs with types. For example, using function selectors sort of breaks sorting and there are several issues with server sorting/pagination as well as fixed header positioning.

Some of you have PR's open for some of these things so hopefully, once I get a working next branch up we can retrofit to TypeScript.
