Assignment 12 Node.js & MySQL - Bamazon

Task

Creating an Amazon-like storefront with the MySQL skills you learned this unit. The app will take in orders from customers and deplete stock from the store's inventory. As a bonus task, you can program your app to track product sales across your store's departments and then provide a summary of the highest-grossing departments in the store.

Before you begin

Dotenv File Setup

DATA_HOST=localhost
DATA_PORT=3306
DATA_USER=root
DATA_PASSWORD=insertyourpasswordhere

After setting up the .env file run the following node commands

npm init
npm install

Start Application

Once installed you can run the following commands.

To start the customer app
node bamazonCustomer.js

To start the manager app
node bamazonManager.js

To start the supervisor app
node bamazonSupervisor.js
