It works on my own GENMOD Geneve, but doesn't work on stock Geneve.

  • Diagnose how broken with Greg
  • Get test Geneve setup
  • Build a test cartridge image
  • Try CPLD changes:
    • WE* enables LED (passes if tested correctly)
    • No WE* signal on TIPI board? How does ANYTHING else work?
    • MEMEN* enables LED
    • WE* AND MEMEN* enabled LED
    • ... AND LATCH_ADDR enables LED
    • Try 0x5FFE instead of 0x5FFF for latch data
  • learn how to use a logic analyzer
  • take a lucky guess
  • map out the timing diagrams for read and write in DSR space
  • did I learn anything?
  • fix and publish, or give up, announce that I will not continue to pursue compatibility.
