Sigma in Truncated Power Law #56
Comments
Nope; sorry. We would need an analytic definition of what sigma is for a
truncated power law, which probably exists but I don't know it. Then that
calculation would need to be stuck into Truncated_Power_Law and submitted
as a pull request.

Hi Jeff,
Is there any way to get the standard error 'sigma' for truncated power-law
fitting? I only see one for the power-law function.

Thanks for your reply. We are trying to measure the uncertainty for the alpha in truncated power-law. Anything you could recommend? Could we use Bootstrap and check the distribution of alpha? |
