I use exitwp export a blog with a lot of emoji like :) or :P.
I hacked exitwp at the moment

Titles with colons require quotes around them. That's just a requirement of Jekyll's front matter format. Perhaps you can submit your changes back to the exitwp tool to that they can handle this appropriately. Thanks!

(More specifically, it's the way YAML works. We use YAML for our Front-Matter. If it violates the YAML spec, it won't be parsed and the build process will terminate or that post/page will be 86'd.)
