I've followed all the troubleshooting tips but I cannot get this to work on OS X. I'm running vanilla OS X with rubygems updated and homebrew installed. I'm running the most up to date version of OS X (Mavericks 10.9.2)
$ gem install jekyll

If I try with sudo:
$ sudo gem install jekyll
