I can confirm this with an iPhone 8 running IOS 16.7.5, Swiftfin 1.0.1 (78), and Jellyfin 10.8.13. Force Direct Play doesn't make a difference.

Can confirm same is happening for me with 17.3.1 iPhone 14 Pro Max Swiftfin 1.0.1(78) Jellyfin 10.8.1

Videos work without force direct play enabled for me.

Please try again with Swiftfin 1.1. Let me know if you are still experiencing playback errors.

I'm running Swiftfin/Jellyfin 1.0.1 on tvOS and have been having the problems mentioned above, even after using "force direct play". I went to upgrade to 1.1, but I don't see that version being offered up in the App Store on tvOS. Is this a controlled release where only parts of the user base are offered the update?

@b-jazz tvOS hasn't been updated yet. I believe the maintainer wants to fix some other issues first.
