Episode to Episode Video Playback Issues

When playing the next episode, whether through the next episode button or through auto-play or from the home screen On Deck, sometimes the video will load but playback will not commence.

The video player will show non-stylized controls at the bottom consisting of play/pause, progress meter, download, closed captions and full screen toggle. The video does load because if I click through the progress meter the video will show still screenshots from the episode.

If you wait a long enough period of time (and occasionally re-hit the play button) it will eventually begin playback. It's interesting but some files seem to be consistently slow-starters. Perhaps it has to do with the read time on the file to Jellyfin server or the time it takes to receive/process data from Jellyfin Server to Jellyfin Theater.

I use a networked drive setup with offsite storage so it would be helpful if someone with locally stored files could provide input on if they are seeing this issue as-well.

I wonder if it is still the issue if you use new enough jf-web and 10.4.0 as a server...

Is this still an issue and if it is, can you also reproduce that on web?
