I managed my video files according to https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/shows/, and for those extras I put them in folders like interview, scenes or clips. For extras folders other than 'trailers', 'other', or 'clips', things just work fine, Jellyfin will auto put the videos at the bottom of the Season. However, if I put some video files in 'other' and 'clips', Jellyfin will recognize the files as episodes, fetching .nfo metadata and putting them alongside with episodes of the Season instead of at the bottom. For 'trailers' folder, Jellyfin will simply ignore the folder, nothing inside will appear on Jellyfin main screen.
Trailers aren't intended to show up directly - the "trailers" button on the show or season header bar will play the trailer.
Other (#8520) and clips (#8638) were added as extras folders last October. They're in the master branch and therefore documented but haven't been in a release yet. Expect those to come with version 10.9

Thanks for the reply! Can't wait for 10.9, so many features.
