🔭 I'm currently:

Most of my recent work has been democracy infrastructure: IRS Direct File at Truss (140,000 filers in 2024, 32 million in 2025), campaign finance transparency at MapLight, and voting coordination at Sway. I didn't set out to specialize in it. Turns out I keep choosing the same kind of problem.

  • Frontend architecture & accessibility
  • Engineering team process development and support
  • AI-enhanced workflows & tooling

🌱 Currently exploring:

  • Running a production design system migration with Claude Code as the implementation layer
  • Modern web architecture with Astro
