DokuWiki is a simple to use and highly versatile Open Source wiki software that doesn't require a database. It is loved by users for its clean and readable syntax. The ease of maintenance, backup and integration makes it an administrator's favorite. Built in access controls and authentication connectors make DokuWiki especially useful in the enterprise context and the large number of plugins contributed by its vibrant community allow for a broad range of use cases beyond a traditional wiki.
The base container starts with the Ubuntu distribution, adding nginx and all PHP requirements along with DokuWiki.
Edit the DOKUWIKI_INSTALL
variable at the top of Dockerfile to install a
different version of DokuWiki.
You can comment out the line in Dockerfile that installs php-curl
if you do not
want to install extensions through the DokuWiki administrative Extension Manager.
Extensions can still be installed manually.
To change which port nginx listens on, edit nginx/default
changing:
listen 8080 default_server;
listen [::]:8080 default_server;
from 8080
to your desired port. Then, also edit the EXPOSE
toward the end of
Dockerfile, again changing 8080
to your new port.
