Could we have the ability to select the timezone in preferences?
Maybe defaults to the system's timezone.

I'm not sure to understand. I think that's already the case. Where do you see the problem?

Ah yes, when editing a document, the local time zone is used, but not in the find tab.

Should be fixed in 3.1. I let you verify this issue and close it.
