Let's not do this at this time. I'm worried about both the branding aspect as well as the likelihood for mistakes by LLMs. Maybe in the future, and without branding. Thanks for proposing this change though. |
Alright @cpojer Thanks for your input. Let's see what the future holds 🚀. |

Summary
Hey team,
When trying to implement some Jest functionality @bernard-rr and I stumbled into some questions. So, we ended up ingesting the Jest documentation into Mendable.ai (my project) and used it to debug some code and also answer some questions.
It worked great so @bernard-rr and I thought it would be very useful to have a copilot assistant right into the Jest docs that could answer questions about Jest's documentation and help users debug their code. We ended up implementing a small button on the screen's bottom right which unveils an AI-powered chat interface when clicked. There, users can ask questions about Jest's docs. The bot will learn with the documentation daily so it will be always updated with the recent doc changes. (100% free btw)
We would love to hear your feedback on the Jest copilot assistant! Hopefully, this can help your users and decrease some of the incoming support that yall provide. Let us know and we can also email account details to you so you access analytics and use them to improve the documentation and experience around Jest.
More background: I am one of the co-founders of Mendable.ai. We are supporters of open-source projects and we'd love to offer Mendable for free, with the goal of helping yall out teach developers about your product and answer users' queries.
