Current code uses AX.25 Transport Layer Drivers for TCP/IP(PDF) method for encoding MAC address from/to callsign.
Recently I found Amateur Radio Numeric Callsign Encoding (ARNCE) and I thought about applying this method to kisstun.
Conclusion: no plan until required to add ARNCE support. Reason: ARNCE is for Amateur Radio Next Generation Link Layer (ARNGLL), not for AX.25.
KB2ICI/N2KBG's method is planed for AX.25 and this is enough.
