bug in ./configure for Kali #115

I'm trying to install the library on Kali Linux after downloading the .zip from github.

I'm getting :

checking target system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu
./configure: line 4816: AX_EXT: command not found
configure: creating ./config.status
config.status: creating makefile
config.status: error: cannot find input file: config.h.in

Any ideas on how to solve this issue?
