I'm running gitit 0.12.1 and pandoc 1.17.1 on a Linux system. Things have been working well, but I recently started using slide exports and noticed that gitit throws errors when the page includes images whose location is provided with a protocol indicator (i.e., they are offsite, not in the repository).
In the browser I get the familiar error message:
Happstack 7.4.5
Something went wrong here
Internal server error
Everything has stopped
The error was "ExitFailure 67"
This is what gitit outputs to stderr:
gitit: Could not fetch /home/jboy/wiki/wikidata/Foo/https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/20/KochSnowGif16_800x500_2.gif
/home/jboy/wiki/wikidata/Foo/https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/20/KochSnowGif16_800x500_2.gif: openBinaryFile: does not exist (No such file or directory)
This appears related to two previous reports on gitit-discuss, here and here (neither of which seem to have resulted in issue reports here).
