Describe the bug
When right-clicking outside the central window area you are presented with a "Select All" option. Clicking this will select everything, including menus and sidebar items. It's then very difficult to undo this, although tapping CTRL does work for some reason, as does selecting the Help menu (but not other menus)

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Right-click a shape (or anywhere that's not the central window)
  2. Click on 'Select All'
  3. See result

Expected behavior
I was expecting it to select all the matching shapes

This is a browser menu to select all text. Browser menus were left in place intentionally. To select all shapes, right click in the diagram and click "Select All" instead.

I was expecting it to select all of the shape-types that I right-clicked, although I'm not sure how useful that feature would be. I would suggest removing the browser menu, since its only function is to highlight everything and make it difficult to unselect. I'm not sure why you'd deliberately want that.
